How it works
Upload your file. STL, 3MF or STEP — drag it into the quote tool. The file is parsed and priced in your browser, so there's no waiting for someone to email you back, and your model stays on your machine until you actually order.
Pick material and quality. Choose the material and layer height and watch the price update live. Finer layers look better; thicker layers cost less. The tool shows you the trade-off honestly.
Order — and we take over. Every file is reviewed by a human before it goes on the machine. If we spot a problem (thin walls, wrong scale, an unprintable overhang) we'll tell you before printing, not after. Parts dispatch within 48 hours via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
What does it cost?
Orders start at £3.50, with material from £0.18 per gram — and that number is fully loaded: machine time, labour and inspection are in it, not added at checkout. No VAT is added either. As a feel for real prices: a cable clip or small bracket is usually near the £3.50 minimum, a phone-stand-sized part lands around £4–10, and a large enclosure might be £20–40. Which file format is best?

| 3MF | Exported from a slicer or modern CAD. Keeps units and orientation, so "is this in millimetres?" never comes up. |

Common STL problems (we catch them for you)
- Wrong scale — STL files carry no units, so a 50 mm part can arrive as 50 inches. We sanity-check dimensions on every order.
- Thin walls — features thinner than ~1 mm may not survive printing or daily use. We'll flag them and suggest a fix.
- Broken meshes — holes and inverted faces from scans or exports. Most repair automatically; we verify before printing.
- Hopeless overhangs — some models need support material or a smarter orientation. We choose that for you; it's part of the job.
What we print with
Currently stocked: engineering-grade PETG in black — tough, water-resistant and heat-resistant to ~75°C (here's exactly how strong PETG is, with real numbers). PLA, ASA and TPU are arriving soon. The build platform is a large-format 400×400×380 mm machine, so parts that won't fit a desktop printer fit here in one piece — no gluing halves together.
