Large format 3D printing: parts up to 400 × 400 × 380 mm in one piece
Most desktop services stop at about 250 mm. Sync 3D prints up to 400 × 400 × 380 mm as a single part on a large-format FDM machine in London, in engineering-grade PETG, at the same £0.18 a gram all-in rate as small parts. Bigger still is printed in sections and joined.
Prices and facts checked 24 October 2026: parts from £3.50, PETG £0.18 a gram all-in, delivery from £2.70 (large letter for thin parts) or £5.45 tracked (free over £40), no VAT, dispatch within 48 hours.

PETG at £0.18 a gram with machine time, labour and inspection included; 20% infill and 0.2 mm layers unless you choose otherwise. Anything over £80 is sent as a manual quote: an engineer checks orientation, supports and print time and emails a confirmed price and dispatch date within one working day, which on big parts often brings the price down.
Why size changes the job
A 1 kg part prints for 30 to 60 hours, so it is scheduled as a dedicated run rather than slotted between small jobs; expect 3 to 5 working days to dispatch instead of 48 hours. Large flat parts can warp as they cool, so the engineer may suggest a brim, a different orientation or splitting into two pieces with a keyed joint. Hollowing or lower infill is offered where the part does not carry load, and it cuts both weight and price.
Parts bigger than the bed
Up to about 800 mm in one direction we print in sections with alignment keys and supply them glued or ready to glue; the join is as strong as the surrounding wall in PETG. Tell us in the order notes that a split is acceptable and where the join can go.
Materials and finish
Black PETG is stocked: about 50 MPa tensile strength, usable to about 75°C, good outdoors. Layer lines are visible on large flat faces; light sanding or primer is available on request. Not available in resin, nylon or metal.
