Tracking, packaging and problems

Tracking

Every parcel is tracked. The Royal Mail reference is emailed when it is posted, and the delivery estimate comes straight from Royal Mail.

Packaging

Small parts go in a padded mailer with a card stiffener; larger or fragile parts in a box with paper cushioning. Thin, flat and spindly parts are supported so they cannot flex in transit. Packaging is included in the delivery price.

If something arrives damaged

Send a photo within 48 hours of delivery and the part is reprinted and posted again at no charge. Printed parts are made to your file, so there is no change-of-mind return, but a fault is always on us.

Collection

Sync 3D is run from a London workshop without a customer counter, so there is no collection at present. London orders are posted like everyone else's and usually arrive the second working day.

What people post-order most

Questions people ask

Is it cheaper to use a printer near me?

Rarely, once postage is in the price. Sync 3D's minimum is £3.50 a part with tracked delivery at £5.45 and free over £40, dispatched within 48 hours, with no VAT added. A local shop saves the postage but usually has a minimum order and a longer queue; check both before deciding.

Can you post to a business address or a university?

Yes. Add the department, building and any purchase-order number in the order notes and it goes on the label and the invoice.

Do you ship outside the UK?

By quotation only. Email [email protected] with the destination and we will price Royal Mail International Tracked.
